Edmonds Elementary School, Stride Elementary School and 12th Avenue Elementary School students were given free books to keep and enjoy.
Children from every grade were given the opportunity to choose 10 books, from a selection of hundreds. Piles of books were broken down into different reading levels and both fiction and nonfiction options were available. The goal is to help keep their interest of reading alive and well during the summer holiday.
This is an annual event hosted by the amazing directors and volunteers from BASES.
